MRI's

When I was hospitalized, I had an MRI, which came up with nothing. The
doctor ordered another MRI, then right after that, before even getting put
back in my bed, I was called down for a third one, called an ENHANCED MRI,
where they put a dye into your system. It was that third MRI that showed up
a very small "smudge" at the L-2 level. The doctors even waited over the
weekend until Monday, when they could show the film to the University
doctors, before speculating what that "smudge" was. They said it could be a
"ghost"(just a smudge on the film), a tumor, or a TM lesion. It was that
hard to detect. But they had already begun steroid treatments on me,
avoiding any delays, in case it was TM, which they finally did determine that
it was.
