Hi my name is Courtney, I was diagnosed with TM in August and just got home
from the hospital. At first the doctors said there was a lot of hope for me
to walk again ( I am at T-12) and for me to get my senation back. However as
the weeks went on I had another MIR and I hadn't come out of spinal shock,
and the doctors kind of crushed my hopes of ever walking again. Though I will
not give up my hope, I am interested in any suggestions anyone has on a
place to go for a second opinion. Is there anywhere that specializes in TM,
(or are all the doctors just clueless) or are there any doctors that know
more about this? I would really appreciate any suggestions, and the best luck
to all of you!!!!!!
