Your daughters onset is the basis of your Doc's dx, and is a
statistical responsive answer. But not necessary the ultimate outcome.
The high degree of Tone she experiencing can be painful but is
beneficial in the blood flow to her lower extremities and should help a
leave some of the possibility of Pressure Sores. Tone also reduces
atrophy. None the less you probably are, and should, check her skin
nightly and any time she has been in seated in a ruff ridding situation,
ie, small boats or off road vehicles. Sense these types of situations
compress time 'if you will' on ones fanny.
As I understand your daughters level is T9 and she has a degree of tone
in her legs? If this is so, there is a possibility that she will be able
to use braces and the Tone to put the wheelchair away. One can use Tone
to help stand "I do" and use crutches, "I cannot"-t5.
A depression for one minute every twenty, a high degree of tone and a
gradual return of my tactual senses has allowed me to not suffer any
Pressure Sores of any kind in the past eleven years. But the occasional
abrasion does occur and should be dealt with immediately and reasonable
care given.
Follow through with the care of her skin and you will not have to fear,
'CHOPPING HER LEGS OFF'.
Lastly sense she was afflicted less than four months ago, is
experiencing improvement and her young age all lead me to think 'IMO',
that she will have more improvement. To what degree one never knows.
God bless her and her caring mother:

P.S CMG? Is this a urodynamics test? I have had several tests in this
field but cannot remember the abbreviated names.
