I'm sorry to hear that you have such a difficult
time receiving medical services for your brother.
You asked what steroid I was given: By IV for
four days I received Medrol 1,000mg, then I was
treated with a diminishing dosage of Prednisone
20mg several times daily to finally off the steroid
treatment after approximately 6 weeks.
We were told that some times the steroid program
doesn't help, but I was lucky that it helped me.

brother is making some progress.
