My mother has recently been diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. She is now
in a
rehabilition hospital. Our family knows nothing about this disease and
really need some help in understanding this condition. One day she played
golf, felt fine and the next she couldn't move her legs or walk!! The
doctors tell us it was a virus. What kind of virus and where did she get it?
Those are just two of our many questions!

If anyone can help newcomers to this condition, PLEASE let me hear from you
soon!!
