Kevin -
You asked about my Chemotherapy regimen. I was on Cytoxin (400 mg/day I think)
and ACTH (a steroid) for two weeks. When my white blood cell count dropped
below 300 ( normal is 500-1,000) they took me off of it. The theory was and
is that shutting down my immune system temporarily will "turn off" my
overactive immune system which was attacking the spinal cord. It seems to
have worked in my case, although the protocol was based on results from
testing on MS patients reported in a 1983 Journal of American Medicine
article. Let me know if I can give you any more info - and good luck!
Love,
Julienne
