It's funny you should bring up the higher incidence rate of MS in Denver.
When I was hospitalized in Minneapolis, one doctor that was visiting me was
speculating that I was in the higher risk group, since I was a native of
Minnesota. It didn't make a difference that I have lived in California for
20 years, he said it is where you spent your early formative years. He said
that "Minnesotans" were in the higher risk group of getting MS. Maybe it
isn't thin air--could it be cold climate? I dismissed it as one doctor's
theorizing or rationalizing why I could have gotten TM.
