coding of TM

When my daughter, Sarah, and I were at her doctor's for her checkup, one of
the things she indicated would be most beneficial for assisting in research
about TM would be to get a code for TM to be used by doctors. Now when
someone is diagnosed with TM it simply goes into the various tracking systems
as something else such as a spinal cord injury. Thus it is more difficult to
determine like causes, treatments, and other commonalities. Any assistance
or ideas any of you may have as to how to accomplish this, please let me
know. Two years ago when Sarah got TM the research seemed to indicate that
it occurred in 1 out of 1.3 million people, yet within 5 months at Denver
Children's they saw 5 cases. I would like to know if TM is on the rise or if
it has anything to do with our "thinner air" since MS has a higher incidence
rate here than elsewhere in the country. Your help in this regard would be
greatly appreciated.
