My insurance paid for about three months of physical therapy (in my case, at
home. I could've gone to a rehab facility, as far as insurance goes, but the
place was so far away, and transportation and care of three children was a
problem, so P.T. at home worked best for me. Had to ask for it to be at home,
though; they didn't offer that automatically.) They also paid for wheelchair
rental for an indefinite amount of time. And they have paid for numbers of
visits to the neurologist and other specialists and any prescription drug (I
pay the first $10 for each dr. visit and prescription.) That's about all I
had in the way of rehab, but they also paid for my hospital stay and all the
multitudes of tests.
