My daughter who is 16 had this disease in Nov. 96 and still has the effects
of it. This is in the left leg and hip area are weak and hip falls when
walking. This is ok as better than in the wheel dhair as we started out
with.
What is in my mind is where does this virus come from ? Will therapy help
with time? We go two times a week now. Being this young will she have a
chance of getting this again. Is her immune system able to handle other
disease alright? This would be colds and flu season time. The brace she
wears for her leg helps immensely. Does all the blood get into the foot area
? We have gained feeling in the leg as time went on.
Just looking for information as looking at these articles they have been very
informative as what is really happening . Our doctor has tried to help but
he is even learning with us.
