Hey, that's a good attitude! I'm nearing 29 years after and the changes don't
ever really stop. I'm going to keep sharing this bit until y'all are all
tired of it, but muscle spasms cause a lot of the symptoms we all share. Find
out what you can do keep them down. I'm taking Nortriptyline now and it's
working well for me. Also, keeping busy doing whatever you can makes you feel
better even when it sometimes leaves you exhausted. I'm not advocating
burning yourself out, but as long as you drink plenty of water and take the
time to rest afterwards, keep moving!
One thing I do that makes me feel great is canoeing. You only have to have
great control over the upper body to do it and once you learn how to control
the canoe and read the water, it's extremely satisfying. If anyone wants to
try it, remember: don't go for moving water first off. Learn how to paddle
on a lake so that you have plenty of room for error. It's almost impossible
to turn over a canoe in a lake and water makes you feel serene. It even takes
your mind off aches and pains and burning sensations.
Later! Ellen

Now to the group and my TM. I am experiencing more burning sensations,
my sleep is down and my lower back hurts more than ever.
This is a GOOD THING! It signals 'IOM' that I'm changing and that's very
good news because I don't like where I am. Eleven years and counting.
Counting every small change.
