Dear Ellen and All,

The bowel/bladder thing gets to be a royal pain, doesn't it? I've been having
chronic bladder infections since the chemo, which, when you have TM, also
means major spasms and, in my case, severly reduced functions in exercise.
I've been self-cathing for 9 months now, mostly with little or no problem, but
these infections are depressing me. Any advice out there?

Ellen- You write very well, nice to have your perpective on board. What was
it like to be five and have all that happening to you? How much do you
remember? I have a 4 1/2 year old girl and I'd be insane if she were suddenly
paralyzed. Your parents must have had fits. Some others in this group have
written as parents of children with TM, wondering what the children are
experiencing, since, in many cases, the children can't express how they feel.
Tell us what you know!

Love to all,

Julienne
