I have just come off of IV steroids for four days. They had
to
discontiue the treatments because I was retaining to much
fluids. I
gained 10 pounds in four days. I had shortness of breath
while on the
steroids. Once I lost all the fluids they pumped into me
the shortness
of breath went away. I do not have any sensitivity in my
mouth but, have
a metallice taste which my doctors said is because all the
medications
I'm on.
Hang in there, I know it can be very frustrating. Use the
web to help
find anwsers. You have already found this group. Find a
doctor you
feel comfortable with and always ask a million questions. I
have found
a doctor at the University of Irvine, California that is
wonderful. He
is not taking any new patients but has an e-mail address so
that you can
write to him and ask questions.
