Neurontin is doing a better job at handling the tingling. Its still
there, but it is definitley decreased. I wouldn't know about this drug
if you guys hadn't discussed it.
I had another MRI on Friday because I am getting tingling and numbness
in my face. My guess, and the neurologist agrees, is that my
inflamation (between C! and C2) is acting up again, and pressing against
the base of my brain. Since the sensory stuff for the face is located
there - I get the new symptons. I should here the results of the MRI at
the end of this week.
Unrelated question - I'm sure this has been asked before. The
neurosurgeon and neurologist told me that I have myelitis (not
transverse - just on the right side of the spine). They originally
thought it might be MS, but the spinal tap did not indicate that MS was
apparent. They also told me that if a developed another plaque, I
would, by definition, have MS. Some of you have mentioned having
multiple attacks. Does this mean that you have MS, and one or more of
your multiple plaques caused the transverse myelitis? Or have you had
multiple plaques, but still have the transverse myelitis diagnosis with
out MS?
