I had hand surgery in Feb, which may not be as intense as what you face,
but really had no problems related to those you describe - just more or
less normal problems after surgery. The pain killers afterwards did make
it harder to keep my balance, but they would cause problems anyway.

Your concern is valid - but we're more careful walking and balancing
anyway, so I think you'll do fine.
