My husband was diagnosed with TM at Mt Sinai in Cleveland a few weeks ago.
Since that time he has ever so slowly progressed. He has, however developed
arythemia and tachicardia (unsure on spelling, too tired to look it up). On
Wednesday or Thursday he had a slight stroke which manifested itself in a
short-term memory loss which I attributed to coming off the prednisone.
Yesterday am I detected the arythemia again and called the doctor. A cat
scan showed the stroke. Now he is on intravenous heparin to thin his blood.

A nurse friend suggests I take him out of Cleveland for study of his case.
Money is not a problem, but I don't know where to go or how to proceed. If
anyone out there can help, please write me.
