Debbie

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a good five years before I got TM.
Like TM, it is a catch-all diagnosis. It was not a Gp or Neuroologist
who gave the diagnosis, but a bone-doctor. Don't remember his official
title!

TM just seems to be another problem I have to deal with. I had serious
health problems before the onset. Luckily, I don,t have to deal with
anything new! Knock on wood!

It's my feeling that TM can be the result of an immune system that has
been compromised. By trauma, virus, etc. I think we all should take
the best care of ourselves we are capable of. Stress definately is a
factor in recovery. Everyone on the planet knows that stress is
destructive. Doing something about your stress can cause you stress!

I dealt with fibro, before TM by eliminating caffine, making sure I did
stretching exercises before going to work and staying ahead of the
pain. As I said before, it is my personel belief that TM causes an
immune deficiency, so just do the best you can to live a healthy
lifestyle.

Chins Up,

Donna
