Dear Patti,

I can only say I agree we all should scream, but more than likely they would
only put us in those little white coats with real long sleaves. I did and
still do have the tightness in my lower body sometimes it comes all the way
down my left leg and pulls my leg or draws my leg up under neith me. I also
feel as if I am wearing a very tight boot at this time. This as only occured
when I and where I have numbness. I first had this numbness in most areas
below the waste, then as I began to start my PT and treatment this slowly but
surely began to improve. I have regained the entire right leg except for a
small portion of my right heel. My left leg still is on its way to recovery
and almost makes me want to "leap from tall buildings at a single bound"
During the first protion of my TM I remember awakening and crying because I
could no longer feel the cool sheets of my bed on my feet. ( I am a little
annal retentive when it comes to my linen, I actually remake beds in hotels)
This was a small thing in the scope of all I was going through yet it was
the breaking point for that day. So remember that on those days when you
really feel as if you can no longer take it or your "tight pants get on your
last nerve" remember to take a moment and take time out for you. One thing
that helped me was to take a rought bath towel and hold the ends in both
hands then run or rub it briskly over the areas of tightness or numbness thus
bringing the blood flow to that area and giving deep presure sensation
therapy. E-Stem helped as well in this area, ask you physical theropist
about this.

Kindest regards,
Beth R.
