I believe Evoked Potentials are part of the series of tests (MRI, Spinal Tap
& Evoked Potentials) done on TM patients in the attempts to rule out MS -
I've heard though that MRI's are the most helpful to the doctors. I had my
Evoked Potential testing done before my MRI's - I think it's just a matter of
scheduling and the hospital was able to fit in the Evoked Potentials testing
first. In Canada it seems MRI's are done exclusively in the hospitals and
I;m told you can wait anywhere up to 6 - 9 months (and that's with the
machines running 24/7). I had my first MRI today and I have two more
scheduled, one in July and one in August.
