Dear Sandra,
Someone mentioned lesions on the spine as a symptom of TM. It seems =
that
is usually the case, from what people have said on this list. The last =
time I
talked with my neurologist, I asked if I had one. He apparently didn't =
have
my chart open, but he said he didn't think so. None was ever mentioned =
to me
while in the hospital or at his office over the last year and a half. =
They
did mention a probable virus and swelling around the spinal cord. I did
specifically ask in the hospital if the diagnosis of TM was made from =
any
test or anything they saw or if it was made on the basis of the symptoms =
and
the ruling out of other problems. I was told it was the latter. That has
sometimes made me wonder if what I had was really TM, but my symptoms =
are
almost exactly like so many peoples' are here on this list. Someone else
wrote a few weeks back to say he had no lesion, also. Just wanted to =
pass
that info. along.
Barbara
