Hi, I'm new to this list, having just found you this pm.
I'm hoping to find someone who has been diagnosed with radiation-induced
transverse myelitis.
My 44 yr old husband had radiation treatment for Hodgkins Disease when he was 24 and has slowly lost all the muscles around his neck and shoulder area.
He is now experiencing a tingling sensation in both hands which seems to be getting worse.
Two neurologists have seen him but sent him home and said come back in a year. ???
They say it might be myelitis but aren't sure. He's had a MRI with no conclusive results.
Can anyone help us find out more info. ?
Thanks.
