Dear Larry,
I was struck with TM a year and a half ago, at age 38. Physical therapy was
the only remedy that helped me much, also, though I've been on Carbamazepine
(generic version of Tegretol) for a few weeks with fair results. I can't say
TM hasn't altered my life, though. Even though I'm doing almost what I was
before, it has affected how I function and how I feel, physically and
emotionally, working through or in spite of pain, numbness, and disturbing
symptoms. But God gives grace for every day, and not focusing on the TM
helps.
