Last summer my daughter, now 13, attended a rehab clinic in NJ spending 8
hrs. 5 days each week in rehab. The clinic is tremendous, the only one of
its kind that we have found, an outpatient facility. There were many stroke
victims as well as spinal cord injury patients. One of the things they did
was bio-feedback through the Univ. of Miami program. Have any of you tried
bio-feedback. I believe it can be helpful, electodes are placed on a
particular place and you are able to watch on a computer screen your ability
to improve your contraction of the muscle. Sarah saw the amt of her nerve
signals going to the muscle steadily improve over the course of the summer.
I haven't been able to find such a program in CO. The Miami program has
only 5 sights in the country. Any help in this area would be much
appreciated!
