I'm still not fond of snow and ice, but I have cleats embedded in rubber
that slip over my shoes or boots and a cleat tip that flips down for my
cane. I don't use a cane in nice weather now, but with that cleat, it's
great to have more to balance with if there's ice or big banks of snow
against the curbs.
I love spring and fall, but 95 degrees with high humidity is hard for me to
deal with without overheating.
