I have often wondered if chemical plants might have some connection to TM.
I grew up in New Orleans, LA but also lived in Baytown, TX (outside of
Houston) and in Baton Rouge, LA for college. Both of which are surrounded
by chemical plants too. No connection has really been made to chemical
plants and TM but there have been other problems that have occurred around
the area. One of the roads right outside of the Baton Rouge metropolitan
area is actually nicknamed "Cancer Alley" because so many residents in the
area have developed cancer. Also, one year several pregnant women in the
area gave birth to deformed children. A little too coincidental if you ask
me. Not to mention that in New Orleans we actually drank Mississippi River
water!! Hopefully, one day the doctors and others will eventually find out
what causes TM.
