I remember when the doctors thought that MS might have been involved with my
TM that they asked a lot about my vision and indeed did a set of tests with
electrodes on the brain to measure response time to stimuli. They also did
some tests with very long needles in the arm which were pushed into the
muscle and then electric currents were passed into the muscles to induce
reflexes. Very painful and most disturbing but the end result was that I did
not have MS.
