Bill,

You can get the sublingual B12 (it will be pink tabs) in health food stores
or by mail order catalog. Get the ones that are 1,000 or 2,000 iu's,
because they're the same price as the smaller tabs, and so a better
bargain. I don't know if it helped with the TM, but it definitely helped
with my asthma. I do visualization, acupuncture, chiropracty, Chinese
herbs, meditation, vitamins B12, C, E, and now evening primrose oil, and
always had a very strong belief that I would walk again and dance
again--and I've improved. It's hard to separate out a single thing that
worked.

On the plateau issue, one of the hardest for me (and people warned me, too)
was after I switched from a wheel chair to canes. That's such a big step,
and you think you'll just keep flying in the recovery process, but the
improvement after that seemed slower even if it wasn't just because it
wasn't as dramatic and definitive.

My legs used to get sore and achy after very little exercise, and gradually
my tolerance level has increased. Now I have to be on my feet several
hours (at least a couple) before I notice. Of course, being in graduate
school, I don't always focus on stuff unless it is a really strong feeling.
