Dear Bill,

I was delighted to see your most recent correspondence to the group. It
would be wonderful if you could start keeping a personal nightly journal, for
two reasons. One for your own bennifit, it will allow you to look back on
the path you have forged through this life changing experience, thus allowing
you (& others to follow)
how much improvement you have made. I have done this and on the days when I
wanted to give up I can turn to any given page of my journal and either
become extremely thankful or I could see that "this too shall pass". Number
two, yea! we (TM vitiams) have a bright young mind out there ready to
challenge the medical community by becoming a Neuroscientist. Here is the
name of a Neuroscienctist you may be able to look up on the web, Dr.Wise
Young, New York University. There are several studies done by Dr. Young, the
most impressive is that of regrowth of the spinal cord in mice, (Time Mag.
has had several article, Aug. 26, 1996 and one other I beleive is in a
following Sept. issue.) One of my doctors has his practices (AT) New York
University Medical Center. I again encourage you to keep a journal "we" need
your sharp young mind and your courage for the future.

Kindest regards,
Beth
