One of the frustrating things about TM is that it is so unpredictable.
Some have had nearly complete recovery except for some tingling. Some have
had little or no improvement. Most of us have had varying degrees of
improvement in different areas. It took different amounts of time for
different people. Some have had continuing improvement even after 5 years.
Most of my improvement took place in the first 6 months. When can you expect
improvement? No one knows. When can you hope for it? Every day. I remember
feeling from day to day that there was no improvement, but then when I looked
back over the weeks, I could see improvement.

I do hope and pray that have you have as much recovery as possible. but
please know that life can and does go on and can be happy even if you don't
improve. There are a few on this list who are paralyzed, including the man
who started and maintains this list.

All of the notes from this list are kept on archives at

You can find other peoples' stories as well as a lot of information there.
It's been very helpful to me.

Have the doctors started you on any medication or physical therapy?

Wishing you all the best,
Prayerfully,
Barbara
