HELLO Barbara, I had a number of blood clots on my lungs within three
months of getting TM, the doctors said this happened because of no
movement in my legs, it seems the calf muscles are the ones that pump
the blood around the lower half, so know i am on warfarin for life to
thin my blood, (i used to do this with scotch malt wiskey) :-)) in the
good old days. After about a year with TM i broke my right leg falling
out of my wheelchair so they stopped the warfarin so they could operate
on my leg to reset it and plate and screw it back together. They did not
start the warfarin after the OP and within a week back came the blood
clots, so know every two weeks its needles and blood samples thanks to
good old TM for life...BUT there is a bright side to the blood tests i
know get some very ..very pretty nurses in my bedroom all the time and i
am running out of veins in the most easy places to reach :-)) (foregive
my navy smutty humour twenty two years in the service) i hope we all get
to know about something other than TM about each other in the group even
though TM is the only common link we all have.
Best Wishes and Regards....
ROBERT..
