I just joined the TM group, and this has truly been an eye opening experience
for me. During the course past few days everything from excellent
information, compassionate responces and last but not least the chastisement
of one or two members for expressing the views and veiws of their loved ones.
We are not isolated to the just to our own involvement in this horrible
experience but we are bound to others who experience different feelings yet
just as intense. I am thankful that some of us were not the ones chosen to
draft the Consitutional Amendments, I fear there would be no free speech. I
do believe we should have the forum here in which to vent our feelings,
please look up "vent" in Websters. The definition will bring a smile to your
face and make us all realize that a "vent" carries both HOT and COLD air. I
may need to "vent" and blow hot air tomarrow then again I may be the one who
brings the fresh cool breeze for you tomarrow.
I am grateful for this forum and hope that the rights afforded us by the
constitution will be applicable here as well. We need each other and eveen
if we haven't experienced the exacted same dilemmas we have experienced the
same emotional
traumas.
As for the handicap parking issue, I agree that there is abuse in this area,
but I don't think that the comments made about it were constructive. On the
lighter side of this issue I personally though the little crook in the end of
my cane was for the neck of those non-handicaps who use our places. Even
before TM I have stopped and ask people who used handicap spaces without
stickers "Just what do you think you are doing" embarrassed the crap out of
them.
Heres to a beautiful Spring week-end
