HELLO, Julienne...I had much the same story with urinary retention as
your self. started with indwelling cath, then self-cath, then started to
leak, tried Ditropan no luck :-( was told i needed a OP to seal the
bladder for life, so i could self-cath forever. But hear in the UK
there was a two year waiting list good old N.H.S. so i sat in my nappys
and waited :-)) it took a another 12 months for bladder and bowels to
return THANK OUR LORD....anyway if you are lucky it will happen, but if
your urologist offers you a OP just give it more time, i was lucky there
was a long waiting list :-)) as to nerves remylenateing i am not so
sure, i asked my nero aboutthis, very little remylenateing takes place,
but other secondery nerves can do some of the work.

ANYWAY GOOD LUCK....

BEST REGARDS ROBERT....
