neurologist (UMass Medical) and do not have to go back unless I have a
change in symptoms or their location. I had a very mild form of TM and am
99% back to normal. Just have some numbness in the ends of my fingers and
feet and a itching feeling on my scalp. The numbness varies from day to
day depending mostly on amount of sleep and stress level. I also notice
an increase of "tingling" in my legs when I walk at a brisk pace over a
couple miles but considering I could only walk at a slow pace for short
periods a year ago I consider myself extremely lucky, especially after
reading everyone elses conditions.
I would be interested in Dr. Roper's location and number, however, in case
of a reoccurrence it would be nice to get a second opinion.
Also, I asked my neurologist about the possibility of MS in the future and
although he didn't give a percentage he explained the relationship by using
a Venn diagram (two circles that overlap) - one circle being those with MS
only and those with TM only and a small group that have both.
