Kara,
You've had some wonderful advice and I sincerely hope you'll follow it!!! I
am really worried about you and the care you are (or are not) receiving!
I do *not* think you are overreacting by any means!!! Your concerns are
genuine and should be treated as such. The weakness and feeling of paralysis
can travel and that may be affecting your breathing and swallowing.
Just because you are new to this does *not* mean your symptoms should be
ignored. Follow the advice given to you and go to an emergency room and
complain, scream, yell.......whatever it takes to have them take you
seriously and follow-up!
At the beginning, I called my neurologist with every change. After a while,
I knew when the changes were *major* or minor onces that would subside with
time. He has always listened to me......no matter how insignificant the
changes were.
Kara, please get yourself checked right away and let us know how you make
out!! {{Kara}}
