Debbie,

Thanks for the advice. I don't feel like I'm having a TM attack right
now but my second (and hopefully last) attack put me in the hospital for
6 weeks. I had a few different symptoms the second time: Lost my
ability to swallow and had a feeding tube, extremely blurry vision that
hasn't gotten much better, numbness in both hands. I was on Solumedrol
and Decadron IV's, too. Other than the above mentioned symptoms, the
attacks were identical and both at T-6. Getting TM and having 2
occurrences is extremely rare, I'm told. Like you, some days are better
than others. I'll ask my doctor about Baclofen and Valium, too.
Please, don't give up on the Jeep. I considered giving my mountain bike
and rollerblades away but I need something to look forward to when I get
strong enough. Take care and I'll keep you posted.
