Dear Carolyn,
No, I've never heard of disipramine. I'll keep it mind. It has helped me
to hear of different medications on this list; I tend to be overcautious, I
guess, about medicines, but when the neurologist suggests one, it helps to
have heard of it and to know of someone who has used it. I'm wondering if the
urination problem for me had anything to do with the baclofen or if it just
happened to flare up then (18-24 times a day), because it still happens
sometimes, though not quite that extensively. I was checked out for diabetes
insipidis (insipidus?) and they didn't think that was the problem. I'm
thinking about giving baclofen another try. The carbamazepine I'm on helps
some but does tend to make me a little sleepy. Always seems to be some kind
of trade-off, doesn't it? :-)
Wishing you well,
Barbara
