To Amy, Barbara & Linda and Group,

Thanks for the replies. I feel much more confident now about going to
see my neurologist. You're right, if he doesn't take me seriously, I'll
go elsewhere. As far as MS goes, I've been told that it's a distinct
possibility, and the chances of getting MS increase with every attack.
I am fortunate though that I have no brain lesions. I've tried
Neurontin but I didn't get much relief. Amitryptiline helped somewhat
but caused horrible bladder retention problems for me. For pain, Ativan
taken with percocet helped me in the hospital but the rehab doctor
wouldn't give me a prescription when I left, even for days I knew I'd be
in excruciating pain. I have done soo much research on TM I feel like
I'm more up to date than my doctor is on current treatments. I think
I'll write down all of my questions and download interesting research
topics for him to look over.
I'll let you all know how it goes. Again, thanks for giving me some
hope and optimism. I still can't shake the feeling that I'm a walking
time-bomb, though.
Take care, everyone!
