Debbie...

When I had to apply for Disability in 1983, it was granted to me rather
quickly. My doctor told me it was because so little was known about TM.

I am presently going thru a very thorough review. Apparently, they may
request this every 7 years if they wish.

My internist told me that their guidelines have gotten so much stricter than
they were.......and he said if there were any question, it would be because
it is neurological in nature. (ie. I can tell him I have pain, he can tell
them......but this is not something they can *see* for themselves.)

Both he and my neurologist have filled out forms stating that I am totally
disabled from TM.

It is now under review by a medical board.....and I will not know the result,
apparently, for 3-4 months.

Obviously, it is not a huge amount they pay me each month, but we did put 2
thru college and am dependent have it figured out by now!) I am under the
Social Security Administration and get disability benefits.

So, according to them, I now sit and wait for *them* to determine if I am
disabled! :-/ I'd like them to use my legs and back for 1 day!

PS Thanx, guys......I'm hushing now!!!! ;-) I hate unanswered mail!
