Thank you for this information, Kay. I had never heard that! The
medications that I am on are all anti-depressants and anti-convulsants.
These were found to control the burning and tingling feelings....as well as
make the pain bearable (at times!)
I plan on talking to my neurologist about any alternatives. I hate to change
medications that seem to be working, but the weight gain is a definite
consideration.
