My neurologist told me that stress is a MAJOR factor with TM. If you
overdo yourself with exercise or mentally, that you could get symptoms that
feel as if you are having a recurrence of TM. He said, however, that is
not the case. A few nights of 12-hour long bedrest, and you will improve
immensely. I, of course, am not a doctor, just going by my experience with
my TM, and my doctor, who I am putting a lot of faith in, because he has
been right on target with all my questions and progress.

I would bet that with the progress that is being made here and with the
Transverse Myhelitis Association, you will soon be able to find support in
London, but if not, you still have your computer and support from all of us
all over the world.
If you would like any personal one on one "comparisons" of TM, or just like
to correspond, feel free to e-mail me.
