Hi, my name is Nancy Scicchitano. I live in Liverpool, NSW, Australia.
Until the age of 3 years I was a normal, healthy child. Then I came down
with TM and was paralysed from the head down. I was layed down to sleep and
when I awoke I was afflicted with this disease. After three months in
hospital the movement gradually came back but no movement returned below
the waist and I had problems with my spine and bladder. I still cannot walk
normally after three operations.My right side has very little feeling, my
left side - not as weak as the right. I was wondering if anyone ( or knows
of anyone) who has had a similar experience to mine. I would be very
grateful to contact them.
