Dear Amy my uncle at the age of 82 lost some 70 pounds and did very
little exercize in doing it. He dosn't have any disabilities, except at
the time he was over weight. Ordered to lose the weight he had carried
most of his life. He told me the how and it was eating slowly. Not slow,
very slow, he would cut things in small pieces and he was always the
last to leave the table. Most times 20 to 30 minutes longer than say
myself. He was told by his doctor that it takes 20 minutes for the
signal from the stomach to reach the brain and if you would eat slowly
you'll find that your full before you get that over ate feeling. He ate
what he wished but he just ate slowly and lost all the weight. He's 95
today.//DCJones {Dave}
