Debbie,
I was beginning to think I was the only one with no improvement.
I was diagnosed with Acute Transverse Myelitis (ATM) almost 8 years ago
(5/17/1989), with basically no improvement. I am C2 quad, completely
paralyzed from the neck down and totally dependent on a repirator to
breathe. I said basically no improvement becacuse at first I had no
feeling below my neck but I can now feel everything except my right arm.
My "attack" of TM hapend suddenly, within a few minutes. The only prior
symtom I had was a pain in my right shoulder 2-3hrs earlier that morning
when I woke up.
