I wouldn't limit the database to only those neurologists who specialize
in TM, because I think most of us are being seen by neurologists who don't.
Also, it might help to get more attention and response by saying in the
letter something like, "Your patient, Mrs. Barbara Harper, has given us your
name and said you might help us by responding to this questionnaire." That
would take more time, because it would have to be individualized, but it
might help the letter not to be tossed out. And you might need to make a
separate form letter for those drs. whose names have been gleaned from phone
books, etc., and not sent to you by their patients. Just a thought.
