Compression fractures

Have been "down and out" for three days with bronchitus. I mean
really down and out. I had been working a lot of overtime (14 hrs/wk) for 3
weeks because my employee had surgery and I was "it." Finally my body just
said enough! Saw my GP and she said either I promise to go to bed, or she
was calling an ambulance. Naturally, I promised, and did go to bed. Had a
chest x-ray before I saw her and they read it wet. Wanted to know if it was
pneumonia or not, it wasn't. But they did not tell me the whole story. When
I saw my GP on Fri. she said that I had a compression fracture on the
mid-lumbar.

That answered alot of questions I have had about the intense pain
I've had since Nov. in my back. It feels like someone "rabbit punched" me.
My neuro dismissed it as not being related to my TM at T-7. So, I just
assumed(yes well) that it was due to spasms.

Now my GP wants a bone density test done. She is concerned because
I am a smooker(God help me) and I am small boned and weigh 102 Lbs. It's a
surprising occurance because I'm not post-menapausal. I'm wondering what
role TM plays in this current crisis.

Chins up!
