Funny you should mention that. I don't know if this embarasses the men,
but they can stop reading if it does. When I was struck at the Minneapolis
Airport, it unfortunately was the very first day of my cycle. The first
thing they told me at the hospital was I could no longer wear tampons, go
to the pad(yuck). Normally my period is heavy the first day, light the
next two days, then virtually nothing the rest of the month. While I was
in the hospital for eight days, I ran very, very heavily for six days
straight!! I don't normally have a lot of pain with my cycle, just take
Advil, and since my stay in the hospital, my cycle has gone back to normal,
except having a 28 day cycle, I now have a 25-day cycle.

I don't mean to change the subject midstream, but in my last visit to my
Neurologist, he mentioned the fact that stress could make you feel like you
are having a recurrence of TM, but not so. Just sleep for at least 12
hours for a few days, and you will feel better. I just added this, because
I, like everybody else, am concerned about recurrences.
