Hello!

I too had no allergies until we moved to an old house several years ago, then
it seemed to be just regular seasonal hay fever -- figured something was
blooming there that wasn't at our previous home. This has continued even
though we've now moved to a different city.

On the neurology web forum I posted the same question I had here a while back
about "jolts" in the back of my head. Someone who said he was a doctor
answered that it sounded to him like a muscle spasm caused by a reaction to
any number of food related things. Among the possibilities he listed were
chocolate :-( , MSG, Nutrasweet, food additives, I think even dairy
products. There was a whole list of things. He suggested going off of all of
that for a month then slowly adding them back one at a time to see if any of
them caused the same reaction. I did not do that, as the jolts seemed to
stop, so I don't know if there's anything to this or not.
