I'm a new subscriber as well. I had a TM attack (if you can call it
that) in Oct 1979 while I was in Tanzania, East Africa.(I'm now
resident in the U.K.) It stared off with tingling and numbness in
the legs and urine retention and within a week I was paralysed from
waist downwards. Recovery started about a month later with a slight
movement of the toes and gradually worked upwards. Now I have a
slight weakness in my left leg and a lazy bladder.

It is quite nice to share experiences and learn from others in the
group.
