I have been on Neurontin for two months. It is a relatively new
anti-convulsive agent and has less side effects than other
anti-convulsives
such as Tegretol or Dilantin. A lot of the pain that we get from TM
is
known as "referred" pain. Since there is a lesion on our spinal
cords the
nerve impulses tend to "short circuit" to other areas causing
discomfort and
shocks. I was reluctant at first to try the Neurontin because it
made me
feel a little light-headed and dizzy. I also got a headache. But
once my
body got used to it (it took about five days) I really couldn't tell
I was
on anything anymore. Good luck with it and let me know how you do.

Hmmmmm don't know the less drugs the better..Have you tried anything
else beside Neruontin???
