I got TM on Jan. 13/97
It started out with terrible pain in right side of my neck, total numbness
in my entire left side from just below my neck (T2) right down to my left
foot. I could hardly walk from exhaustion and lack of balance. It is now 1
1/2 months since then. I now have almost all of my energy back, the pain in
my neck and in my numb side is gone and I can even run now, although
somewhat carefully. The only major sympton I have now is that my left side
is still totally numb. I can't feel hot or cold or cuts.
I was never put on any steroids, pain killers or anything else. No Physical
therapy or whatever else. I have just recovered on my own, hopefully I will
be better soon. Just wanted you to know that it is possible to get better
without treatment if that is God's wish. So don't give up hope, improvement
may come soon, hopefully. I am a lucky one and I thank God. Good luck and
prayers to you and your friend!
